Managing Teaching Venues
Venues represent the locations where you teach. By setting up your venues in Clefora, you can assign a location to each lesson, making your calendar clearer and helping parents know where to go.
Adding a venue
Section titled “Adding a venue”- Open the Hub and go to Settings > Venues.
- Click Add venue.
- Enter a venue name (e.g. “Home Studio”, “St Mary’s School”, “Online”).
- Optionally add an address for in-person venues.
- Click Save.
Assigning venues to lessons
Section titled “Assigning venues to lessons”When you create or edit a lesson, you can select a venue from your saved list. The venue appears on the lesson card in your calendar and in the lesson details that parents see.
Editing and deleting venues
Section titled “Editing and deleting venues”To edit a venue, go to Settings > Venues, click the venue name, and update the details. To delete a venue, click Delete on the venue detail page.
Using venues effectively
Section titled “Using venues effectively”Here are a few tips for managing venues:
- Be specific — If you teach at multiple schools, create a separate venue for each one rather than a single “School” entry.
- Include the address — Adding the full address helps parents who may need directions, especially for new students.
- Keep the list current — Remove venues you no longer use to keep the dropdown clean when scheduling lessons.
