Managing Teaching Venues

Venues represent the locations where you teach. By setting up your venues in Clefora, you can assign a location to each lesson, making your calendar clearer and helping parents know where to go.

  1. Open the Hub and go to Settings > Venues.
  2. Click Add venue.
  3. Enter a venue name (e.g. “Home Studio”, “St Mary’s School”, “Online”).
  4. Optionally add an address for in-person venues.
  5. Click Save.

When you create or edit a lesson, you can select a venue from your saved list. The venue appears on the lesson card in your calendar and in the lesson details that parents see.

To edit a venue, go to Settings > Venues, click the venue name, and update the details. To delete a venue, click Delete on the venue detail page.

Here are a few tips for managing venues:

  • Be specific — If you teach at multiple schools, create a separate venue for each one rather than a single “School” entry.
  • Include the address — Adding the full address helps parents who may need directions, especially for new students.
  • Keep the list current — Remove venues you no longer use to keep the dropdown clean when scheduling lessons.
