Inviting Parents to Connect
Inviting a parent to Clefora gives them visibility into their child’s lessons, practice goals, and progress. Parents receive updates automatically once they are connected.
Generating an invite code
Section titled “Generating an invite code”- Open the Hub and go to the student’s profile from Students.
- In the Parent section, click Invite Parent.
- Click Generate Code.
- A unique 8-character invite code is displayed (e.g.
ABCD-EFGH). - Share this code with the parent — via text message, email, or in person.
What the parent does
Section titled “What the parent does”The parent enters the invite code when they sign in to Clefora (on the Hub or mobile app). Once they enter the code:
- Their account is automatically linked to the student.
- They can immediately see lessons, practice goals, and invoices.
- No additional setup is needed from you.
Invitation status
Section titled “Invitation status”You can check whether a parent has connected on the student’s profile:
- Pending — The code has been generated but the parent has not yet used it.
- Connected — The parent has entered the code and is linked to the student.
Multiple parents
Section titled “Multiple parents”If a student has two parents who both need access, generate a separate invite code for each parent. Both parents are linked to the same student and see the same information.
What parents can see
Section titled “What parents can see”Once connected, parents can:
- View upcoming and past lessons.
- See practice goals and lesson digests (public notes only — your private notes remain private).
