Archiving and Restoring Students
When a student stops taking lessons, you can archive them to keep your active student list clean. Archived students are hidden from your main views but their data is preserved, so you can restore them if they return.
Archiving a student
Section titled “Archiving a student”- Open the Hub and go to Students.
- Click the student’s name to open their profile.
- Click Archive in the profile header.
- Optionally select a reason for archiving.
- Confirm the action.
What happens when you archive
Section titled “What happens when you archive”When you archive a student:
- They are removed from your active Students list.
- Their upcoming lessons are not automatically cancelled. Cancel or delete any remaining lessons manually before archiving.
- They no longer appear in dropdown menus when creating new lessons.
- The connected parent can still view historical data but no new activity occurs.
Viewing archived students
Section titled “Viewing archived students”To see your archived students, you have two options:
- On the Students page, change the status filter dropdown from “Active” to “Archived” (or “All Students”).
- Click the View Archived Students link at the bottom of the students page to go to the dedicated archived students view.
Restoring a student
Section titled “Restoring a student”If an archived student returns to your studio:
- Navigate to the archived students view.
- Find the student and click their name.
- Click Restore in the profile header.
- The student reappears in your active list with all their historical data intact.
