Adding and Managing Pieces

Your repertoire library in Clefora is a central collection of all the pieces you use in your teaching. You can add pieces with details like composer, genre, and difficulty level, then assign them to students as needed.

  1. Open the Hub and navigate to Repertoire in the sidebar.
  2. Click Add piece.
  3. Fill in the details:
    • Title — The name of the piece (e.g., “Minuet in G Major”).
    • Composer — The composer’s name (e.g., “J.S. Bach”).
    • Genre (optional) — Select or type a genre (e.g., “Baroque”, “Pop”, “Jazz”).
    • Difficulty level (optional) — Set a level to help with filtering (e.g., “Beginner”, “Grade 3”, “Advanced”).
  4. Click Save.

The piece is added to your library and is available to assign to any student.

As your library grows, use search and filters to find pieces quickly:

  • Search — Type in the search bar to find pieces by title or composer.
  • Filter by genre — Narrow results to a specific genre.
  • Filter by difficulty — Show only pieces at a particular level.

Filters are available in the toolbar above the repertoire list. You can combine multiple filters at the same time.

To update a piece’s details:

  1. Open the piece from your repertoire list.
  2. Edit any of the fields (title, composer, genre, difficulty level).
  3. Save your changes.

Changes apply everywhere the piece is referenced, including any students it is assigned to.

To remove a piece from your library:

  1. Open the piece from your repertoire list.
  2. Click or tap Delete.
  3. Confirm the deletion.
