Adding and Managing Pieces
Your repertoire library in Clefora is a central collection of all the pieces you use in your teaching. You can add pieces with details like composer, genre, and difficulty level, then assign them to students as needed.
Adding a piece
Section titled “Adding a piece”- Open the Hub and navigate to Repertoire in the sidebar.
- Click Add piece.
- Fill in the details:
- Title — The name of the piece (e.g., “Minuet in G Major”).
- Composer — The composer’s name (e.g., “J.S. Bach”).
- Genre (optional) — Select or type a genre (e.g., “Baroque”, “Pop”, “Jazz”).
- Difficulty level (optional) — Set a level to help with filtering (e.g., “Beginner”, “Grade 3”, “Advanced”).
- Click Save.
- Open the mobile app and go to Repertoire.
- Tap the + button.
- Enter the title, composer, and optional genre and difficulty level.
- Tap Save.
The piece is added to your library and is available to assign to any student.
Searching and filtering
Section titled “Searching and filtering”As your library grows, use search and filters to find pieces quickly:
- Search — Type in the search bar to find pieces by title or composer.
- Filter by genre — Narrow results to a specific genre.
- Filter by difficulty — Show only pieces at a particular level.
Filters are available in the toolbar above the repertoire list. You can combine multiple filters at the same time.
Tap the filter icon at the top of the repertoire screen to access genre and difficulty filters.
Editing a piece
Section titled “Editing a piece”To update a piece’s details:
- Open the piece from your repertoire list.
- Edit any of the fields (title, composer, genre, difficulty level).
- Save your changes.
Changes apply everywhere the piece is referenced, including any students it is assigned to.
Deleting a piece
Section titled “Deleting a piece”To remove a piece from your library:
- Open the piece from your repertoire list.
- Click or tap Delete.
- Confirm the deletion.
