Supported Exam Boards
Clefora supports the major music examination boards so you can track your students’ exam preparation and results all in one place. Each board’s grade structure is built into the platform, making it easy to register exam entries and monitor readiness.

Grade structures
Section titled “Grade structures”Each board uses a slightly different grading system. Clefora maps these automatically when you create an exam entry:
- ABRSM — Prep Test, Grades 1–8, ARSM, DipABRSM, LRSM, FRSM
- Trinity — Initial, Grades 1–8, ARSM, DipABRSM, LRSM, FRSM
- RSL — Initial, Grades 1–8
- RCM — Prep Test, Grades 1–8, ARSM, DipABRSM, LRSM, FRSM
- LCM — Initial, Grades 1–8, ARSM, DipABRSM, LRSM, FRSM
- MTB — Grades 1–8
- AMEB — Prep Test, Grades 1–8, ARSM, DipABRSM, LRSM, FRSM
What you can do with exam boards
Section titled “What you can do with exam boards”Once you select an exam board for a student’s exam entry, Clefora provides:
- Exam entry tracking — Record the board, instrument, grade, and target date for each exam a student is preparing for.
- Result recording — Enter results with marks and outcome (pass, merit, distinction, or fail).
Instruments
Section titled “Instruments”Each exam board supports a range of instruments. When creating an exam entry, you select both the board and the instrument. Clefora shows only the grades available for that combination.
