Creating and Editing Lessons
Lessons are the core of your Clefora calendar. You can create individual one-off lessons or set up recurring weekly lessons that repeat throughout a term.
Creating a lesson
Section titled “Creating a lesson”Lessons are created from the student profile, not directly on the calendar.
- Navigate to the student’s profile page.
- Click Lesson Actions (or Set Up Schedule for new students).
- Choose how to create the lesson:
- Weekly Schedule — Set up a recurring weekly lesson and generate lessons across a term.
- Rotational Schedule — Set up a rotating schedule for students who alternate lesson types.
- Ad-hoc Lesson — Create a single one-off lesson by selecting the date, time, duration, and venue.
- Fill in the required details and save.
- Tap the + button on the Calendar screen.
- Select the student and instrument.
- Set the date, time, and duration.
- Optionally select a venue.
- Tap Save.
Editing a lesson
Section titled “Editing a lesson”To update a lesson’s details:
- Click or tap the lesson on your calendar.
- Click or tap Edit.
- Change the fields you need to update (time, venue, instrument, etc.).
- Save your changes.
One-off vs. recurring
Section titled “One-off vs. recurring”When creating a lesson, you can choose:
- One-off — A single lesson on a specific date.
- Recurring — A weekly lesson that repeats. You set the day, time, and term boundaries. See Setting up recurring lessons for a full guide.
