Creating and Editing Lessons

Lessons are the core of your Clefora calendar. You can create individual one-off lessons or set up recurring weekly lessons that repeat throughout a term.

Lessons are created from the student profile, not directly on the calendar.

  1. Navigate to the student’s profile page.
  2. Click Lesson Actions (or Set Up Schedule for new students).
  3. Choose how to create the lesson:
    • Weekly Schedule — Set up a recurring weekly lesson and generate lessons across a term.
    • Rotational Schedule — Set up a rotating schedule for students who alternate lesson types.
    • Ad-hoc Lesson — Create a single one-off lesson by selecting the date, time, duration, and venue.
  4. Fill in the required details and save.

To update a lesson’s details:

  1. Click or tap the lesson on your calendar.
  2. Click or tap Edit.
  3. Change the fields you need to update (time, venue, instrument, etc.).
  4. Save your changes.

When creating a lesson, you can choose:

  • One-off — A single lesson on a specific date.
  • Recurring — A weekly lesson that repeats. You set the day, time, and term boundaries. See Setting up recurring lessons for a full guide.
