Logging practice
The Practice screen is your home screen in Clefora. It shows active practice goals from your most recent completed lesson with each teacher, and lets you log how many minutes you practised.
How practice goals appear
Section titled “How practice goals appear”Your teacher sets practice goals when they complete a lesson. Goals from the most recent completed lesson for each teacher are shown on your Practice screen, grouped by teacher and instrument.
Once a goal is marked as complete by your teacher, it no longer appears on this screen.
Logging a practice session
Section titled “Logging a practice session”- Go to the Practice page.
- Find the goal you practised.
- Enter the number of minutes in the Minutes field.
- Optionally add a note about what you worked on.
- Click Log.
A success message confirms the entry was saved.
- Open the Practice tab (the first tab).
- Find the goal you practised.
- Tap a quick-log duration button: +5m, +10m, or +15m.
- Tap Log.
A confirmation alert appears once the entry is recorded.
What gets recorded
Section titled “What gets recorded”Each practice entry includes:
- Date — Automatically set to today’s date.
- Duration — The number of minutes you practised (1 to 480 minutes).
- Notes — Optional notes about the session (Hub only).
Who can see your practice
Section titled “Who can see your practice”Your logged practice is visible to:
- Your teacher — They see your practice entries before the next lesson to plan what to cover.
- Your parent — They can view your practice history on your profile.
Practice summary
Section titled “Practice summary”On the Hub, a Practice Summary card at the top of the page will show your weekly practice statistics (coming soon).
