Viewing lessons
The Lessons screen shows all your lessons across every teacher you study with, sorted with the most recent lesson first.
What each lesson shows
Section titled “What each lesson shows”Every lesson card displays:
- Date — When the lesson took place or is scheduled.
- Teacher name — Which teacher gave the lesson.
- Instrument — The instrument for this lesson (if set).
- Status — The current state of the lesson.
- Lesson summary — A brief summary written by your teacher after the lesson (if provided).
- Practice goals — Goals set by your teacher, with a tick mark for completed goals and a bullet for goals still in progress.
Lesson statuses
Section titled “Lesson statuses”| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Upcoming | A future lesson that has not yet taken place. |
| Confirmed | A future lesson your teacher has confirmed. |
| Completed | A past lesson that has been marked as done by your teacher. |
| Incomplete | A past lesson that was never completed by your teacher. |
| Cancelled | A lesson that was cancelled. |
Hub vs. Mobile
Section titled “Hub vs. Mobile”Lessons are displayed as stacked cards. Each card shows the date, teacher, instrument, and a status badge. Click a card to see the full lesson summary and practice goals.
Lessons appear in a scrollable list with pull-to-refresh. Each card shows the same information as the Hub, with practice goals listed inline below the summary.
Empty state
Section titled “Empty state”If you have no lessons yet, you will see a message: “Your lessons will appear here once your teacher records them.” Lessons are created by your teacher and appear automatically once saved.
