Viewing exams
The Exams screen shows all exam entries that your teacher has registered for you. This gives you visibility into upcoming exams and past results.
What each exam entry shows
Section titled “What each exam entry shows”Every exam card displays:
- Exam board — The examining body (e.g. ABRSM, Trinity, RSL).
- Instrument — The instrument for this exam.
- Grade level — The grade or level you are entered for.
- Status — The current state of the exam entry.
- Teacher name — Which teacher registered this entry.
- Target date — The target or scheduled exam date (if set by your teacher).
Exam statuses
Section titled “Exam statuses”| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Registered | Your teacher has registered you for this exam. |
| Preparing | You are actively preparing for this exam. |
| Passed | You passed the exam. |
| Failed | You did not pass the exam. |
Hub vs. Mobile
Section titled “Hub vs. Mobile”Exams are displayed as stacked cards with a status badge. Each card shows the exam board, instrument, grade, teacher, and target date.
Exams appear in a scrollable list with pull-to-refresh. The layout mirrors the Hub but is optimised for smaller screens.
Empty state
Section titled “Empty state”If your teacher has not registered any exams for you, you will see a message: “Exam entries from your teacher will appear here.” Entries appear automatically once your teacher creates them.
