Logging practice sessions

Students log their own practice sessions from the Clefora mobile app. Recording practice time helps the teacher understand how much your child is practising between lessons and gives your child a sense of accomplishment. As a parent, you can view logged practice entries on your child’s profile.

  1. Your child opens the Clefora mobile app and signs in with their student account.
  2. On the Practice tab, active goals are grouped by teacher and instrument.
  3. Your child selects a quick-log duration (5, 10, or 15 minutes) for the goal they practised.
  4. The practice entry is saved and visible to both the teacher and parent.

As a parent, you can see practice entries that your child has logged:

  1. Tap your child’s card on the Home tab.
  2. Tap your child’s name.
  3. Scroll to the Practice Goals section.

Each goal shows whether practice has been logged against it and when.

Each practice entry records:

  • Date — When the practice session took place.
  • Duration — How many minutes the student practised.
  • Notes — Optional notes the student added about the session.

The teacher sees these entries before the next lesson and can use them to plan what to cover.

You can see a history of all practice entries for each goal. This helps you track how consistently your child is practising throughout the week.
