Notification preferences
Clefora sends notifications to keep you informed about your child’s lessons, practice, and messages. You can control which notifications you receive and how they are delivered.
Notification categories
Section titled “Notification categories”You can manage the following notification categories:
- Messages — New messages from parents or teachers.
- Lessons — Lesson updates, reminders, and cancellations.
- Progress — Practice goals and student milestones.
- Exams — Exam deadlines and preparation alerts.
- Payments — Invoices, payment confirmations, and reminders.
- System — Account issues and platform updates.
Delivery channels
Section titled “Delivery channels”For each category, you can independently toggle:
- Push — Push notifications sent to the Clefora mobile app on your phone.
- Email — Sent to your registered email address.
In-app notifications are always enabled and cannot be turned off.
Managing your preferences
Section titled “Managing your preferences”- Select Settings in the sidebar.
- Open the Notifications tab.
- Toggle each category on or off for push and email delivery.
- Changes save automatically.
- Tap Home in the bottom navigation.
- Navigate to Account (tap your profile avatar or the Account card).
- Tap Settings.
- Switch to the Notifications tab.
- Toggle each category on or off for push and email delivery.
- Changes save automatically.
Recommended settings
Section titled “Recommended settings”For most parents, keeping all notifications enabled ensures you stay informed. If you find you are receiving too many emails, consider disabling email for the Progress category while keeping push notifications on — that way you still see updates on your phone without extra emails.
