Viewing exam entries and readiness
When your child’s teacher registers them for a music exam, you can see all the details in Clefora. The exam entry includes the exam board, grade level, dates, and current status.
What an exam entry includes
Section titled “What an exam entry includes”Each exam entry shows:
- Exam board — The examining body, such as ABRSM, Trinity, or Rockschool.
- Grade — The grade level your child is entered for.
- Instrument — The instrument being examined.
- Preferred exam date — The teacher’s requested date, if submitted.
- Confirmed date and time — The confirmed exam date and time, once the entry is confirmed.
- Confirmed location — Where the exam takes place, once confirmed.
- Entry status — The current stage of the exam entry process (see below).
Viewing exam entries
Section titled “Viewing exam entries”- Select Musicians in the sidebar.
- Click your child’s name.
- Open the Exams section on their profile.
Active exam entries are listed with their dates and status. Click any entry to see the full details.
- Tap your child’s card on the Home tab.
- Tap your child’s name.
- Scroll to the Exams section.
Tap any exam entry to view its full details.
Exam entry statuses
Section titled “Exam entry statuses”Exam entries move through five stages:
- Entry planned — The teacher has created the exam entry and is preparing the student.
- Entry submitted — The exam entry has been submitted to the exam board. A preferred date and location may be recorded.
- Entry confirmed — The exam board has confirmed the date, time, and location.
- Exam taken — The exam has taken place and results are pending.
- Result received — The exam result has been received and recorded.
