Exam results and certificates
When your child’s exam results are available, the teacher records them in Clefora. You can view the outcome, marks, and any notes from the teacher about how the exam went.
What results include
Section titled “What results include”A completed exam result shows:
- Outcome — Pass, merit, or distinction (or not passed, if applicable).
- Total marks — The overall mark achieved.
- Mark breakdown — Individual marks for each component, such as pieces, scales, sight-reading, and aural tests, where available.
- Teacher notes — Any comments the teacher has added about the result.
Viewing results
Section titled “Viewing results”- Select Musicians in the sidebar.
- Click your child’s name.
- Open the Exams section on their profile.
- Click the completed exam entry to see the result.
Completed exams are shown with a badge indicating the outcome (pass, merit, or distinction).
- Tap your child’s card on the Home tab.
- Tap your child’s name.
- Scroll to the Exams section.
- Tap the completed exam entry to see the result.
Past results
Section titled “Past results”All previous exam results remain on your child’s profile. You can scroll through the exams section to see a history of every exam your child has taken, along with their results and marks.
Certificates
Section titled “Certificates”Physical certificates are issued by the exam board directly. Clefora does not generate or store certificates, but the result record in Clefora serves as a quick reference for your child’s achievements.
