Parent Dashboard Overview
Your dashboard is the first thing you see when you open Clefora. It gives you a quick snapshot of your children’s music education — upcoming lessons, recent practice goals, and messages from teachers — all in one place.
Dashboard cards
Section titled “Dashboard cards”The dashboard displays a set of cards that summarise activity for your children:
- Children overview — A card for each child showing their name, instrument, and teacher. Tap or click a child to view their full profile.
- Upcoming lessons — The next scheduled lessons across all your children, showing the student name, instrument, date, time, and venue.
- Recent practice goals — The most recent practice goals set by teachers, with due dates and completion status.
- Unread messages — A count of new messages from teachers, with a link to your inbox.
Hub vs. Mobile
Section titled “Hub vs. Mobile”On the Hub, your dashboard cards are displayed in a grid layout. You can see the full activity feed and click any card to navigate to the relevant section.
On the mobile app, the dashboard uses a scrollable card layout optimised for smaller screens. Tap any card to open the full view.
Navigating the sidebar
Section titled “Navigating the sidebar”As a parent, your sidebar includes four main sections:
- Dashboard — Return to this overview at any time.
- Musicians — View profiles and details for each of your children.
- Messages — Open your message threads with teachers.
- Settings — Update your profile and notification preferences.
Real-time updates
Section titled “Real-time updates”Clefora updates your dashboard in real time. When a teacher sends a lesson digest, sets a new practice goal, or sends you a message, the relevant card updates automatically — there is no need to refresh the page.
