Setting up the mobile app

The Clefora mobile app gives you access to lessons, messages, and student progress from your phone. It stays in sync with the Hub in real time, so changes you make in one place appear instantly in the other.

  • A Clefora account (teacher or parent)
  • An iPhone running iOS 15 or later, or an Android device running Android 10 or later

Download Clefora from your device’s app store:

  1. Open the Clefora app.
  2. Tap Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple.
  3. Use the same account you used to sign up on the Hub.

Your data loads automatically. There is nothing to configure — your students, lessons, and messages are already there.

After signing in, you land on the home screen. What you see depends on your role.

Your home screen shows:

  • Today’s lessons — A quick view of your schedule for the day
  • Recent activity — Latest lesson logs, messages, and notifications
  • Quick actions — Buttons to log a lesson, message a parent, or add a practice goal

Your home screen shows:

  • Upcoming lessons — Your child’s next scheduled lessons
  • Practice goals — Current goals set by the teacher
  • Recent messages — Latest messages from the teacher

Push notifications keep you informed about new messages, upcoming lessons, and important updates. Clefora prompts you to enable notifications on first launch, but you can also configure them manually.

  1. Go to your device Settings > Notifications > Clefora.
  2. Toggle Allow Notifications on.
  3. Choose your preferred alert style (banners, sounds, badges).
  1. Go to your device Settings > Apps > Clefora > Notifications.
  2. Toggle notifications on.
  3. Customize notification categories if you want to control which alerts you receive.

You can also manage notification preferences within the Clefora app under Settings > Notifications to choose which types of events trigger a push notification.
